The real estate market in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) is bustling once again as the COVID-19 situation begins to ease. Major real estate companies are ramping up the development of residential and commercial projects, leading to a growing demand for personnel in both front-end and back-end roles in the real estate business. Origin EEC Co., Ltd., part of Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), has been a key player in the EEC real estate market since 2015, continuously investing and developing projects while contributing to various aspects of the area. Recognizing the demand for skilled professionals, the company has launched the Origin EEC Academy project to nurture a new generation of talented individuals for the real estate industry.

Krit Techasammas, Managing Director of Origin EEC Co., Ltd., stated that as a market leader in condominiums targeting Gen Y and Gen Z, as well as other project developers in the EEC zone, the company places great importance on preparing a skilled workforce. Thus, the company has organized the "Origin EEC Academy Camp", which includes training courses, knowledge exchange, and direct experiences shared by the company's management team to develop the business. The activities focus on practical applications and problem-solving, understanding the benefits of sales, marketing, investment, and management in the real estate sector, paving the way for future collaboration with Origin.

“This project is committed to a mentorship model where our employees, most of whom come from local educational institutions, share their knowledge and experiences. The content selected by Origin EEC aims to enhance the skills of participating students, incorporating practical knowledge applicable to their future careers, such as Real Estate Development, Marketing/Digital Marketing, professional sales techniques, and the fundamentals of real estate sales development according to Origin's standards, hotel business management, basic project development laws, and general knowledge about the Condominium Act. Our management team and professionals from various fields will teach real estate business topics through different classes and serve as mentors to guide teamwork, enhancing experiences to prepare students for real-world work environments.

We have selected 40 students in their 3rd and 4th years from Burapha University and Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus, to participate in the Origin EEC Academy Camp, divided into four main classes:

  • Real Estate Development led by Thanakorn Wutthipong, Director of Business Development at Origin EEC Co., Ltd., sharing marketing experiences and knowledge with students.
  • Marketing Class with Krit Techasammas, Managing Director of Origin EEC Co., Ltd., sharing marketing experiences and knowledge with students.
  • Origin The Real 2022 Class, revealing the secrets of Origin's successful salespeople, led by Theerapat Satrathong, Sales Director, and a team of professional coaches from Origin Sales & Service Development, providing knowledge to students to enhance their personality, service, and basic sales skills.
  • Hotel Business Class with Sakchai Puiphanthawong, General Manager of Holiday Inn & Suites Siracha Laemchabang, sharing knowledge for students to apply in their studies, including a tour of the hotel kitchen to see real working processes.

Students participating in the project will work together on a special project to present to the committee, honored by Krit Techasammas, Managing Director of Origin EEC Co., Ltd., and Assistant Professor Dr. Thanapon Nithechawakul, Assistant Dean for Cooperative Education at Burapha University, Dr. Theerachinphat Ramdecha, advisor in management and business innovation at Burapha University, and Kanith Lohakard, Director of Academic Administration and Student Affairs at Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus, who will closely listen, evaluate, and provide guidance, as well as award prizes to the participating students. They will also have the opportunity to work with the companies under Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI).

Visaruta Srisodsuk, a 3rd-year Economics student at Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus, one of the participants, stated that joining the Origin EEC Academy project was a new experience for her as she usually does not study in this field. The training provided her with a wealth of knowledge outside the classroom, and she learned real experiences from all the instructors who shared knowledge that she could apply in various areas.

“The first time I joined the activity, I felt very nervous. However, on the first day, the team and my friends helped me relax. Everyone was friendly and easy to talk to. The instructors were also very kind, which made me feel comfortable asking questions. All the classes were very enjoyable, and the Hotel Business class was one of my favorites because it gave me deep insights into real hotel management and structure, which I might not have found through my own research. After class, the instructors took us on a tour of the hotel kitchen, allowing us to see the real working processes, whether it was baking, cooking, kitchen organization, or food storage. I could ask questions about anything I was interested in. This has been the best experience for me!”

Another impressive experience came from Thanakorn Mingchai, a 4th-year Business Administration student at Burapha University, who said that the Origin EEC Academy project opened up learning experiences in the real estate field from many angles. Importantly, I had the opportunity to intern with Origin, which allowed me to experience firsthand the diverse aspects of marketing.

“I had the chance to attend every class, but personally, I enjoyed the Real Estate Development and Marketing classes the most because they provided new knowledge that I had never learned before. What I gained from these two classes was a deeper understanding of real estate and insight into the current state of competition in the real estate market, how to adapt, and importantly, it was a lot of fun. I am grateful for this great opportunity from Origin.”

This marks another significant role for “Origin EEC,” the market leader in condominiums targeting Gen Y and Gen Z in the EEC zone, as it continues to provide opportunities for the new generation, seeking talented leaders that align with the organization's context for a better future.
